![]() ![]() Why sneak it in without even a patch note? Obviously it was going to be found 30 seconds after the patch hit. I don't know why, everyone makes mistakes, but then I question why the Crow nerf communication was handled in such a different way than the recent examples above. Just admit it was a mistake and patch Crow to work the way it did and find some other approach to a buff calculation problem that you think you have. ![]() Not to mention that there exists at least 5 characters, two of which are in the current meta, that have the exact same interaction with Hildr/Inami that you claim is a bug, these are still live in the game as we speak. This is particularly sad since the Crow artwork is really great, and the grand total of useful T6 crusaders is now zero. You then dug in your heels and snuck in an after the fact changelog note saying "you fixed the bug."Ĭall it whatever you want, whether the Hildr/Crow interaction was a bug of not, it clearly didn't break the game, and was the only thing protecting Crow from the trash heap of T6 characters. You were working on addressing some buff calculation lag, and as a side effect you completely removed the power and therefore usefulness and interest of Crow. The season was chugging along, players were happy and nothing was fundamentally broken. The power was not game breaking in the sense of LB, or Hildr/Oona, or UberBruno. Crow is (was) the only T6 crusader you have introduced that actually was interesting in the sense that it lead to meta-changes and new formations for a positive reason (players could be more powerful). Then you introduced the nerf limiting Bruno to 1500 stacks. After fixing the infinity bugs, you announced a further change would be coming to limit Bruno, but you let UberBruno live out the remainder of the season. You had to fix it, totally fine.Īlso when Hildr was introduced, it made Bruno outrageously powerful to the tune of a e600-e900 benefit in some cases depending on Golden Legendaries. Because of this mess, you had to force global refreshes, again annoying due to lack of testing, but understandable. Obviously this was busted (and I'll point out was discussed in the discord leaks channel for a week before release: "They can't possibly leave it like this can they?"). When Hildr was introduced, there were many many bugs, some game breaking (such as the interaction with Oona that would allow e9 idol players to get e25 idols in a single FP) and Hildr also boosting the 4x ever 25 levels "ability". Some folks were not a fan, but most understood the change was for the best for the long term health of the game. This scenario was letting players be far more powerful than intended, effectively having infinite DPS, so LB had to be changed. Ok, so when Lingering Buffs got out of control, you gave the community a heads up, saying that the original limiting factor (generation of buff cards) was no longer limiting LB in any meaningful way since chests became so common. ![]()
